If you are planning to spend a few days in the area and are looking for things to do here are some options.

Robert Moses State Park - We have some lovely beaches on LI, especially in Suffolk County so if you are looking for a beautiful beach day, check it out here.

We are only 40 minutes from the Hamptons and about 70 miles to Montauk, better known as The End. There are some cute towns and beautiful beaches there as well. Click here for more information. Keep in mind, that traffic can be pretty brutal when you are headed out East so make sure you get a head start by leaving early.

Do you want to check out Fire Island? Ocean Beach, Kismet, Seaview, and Ocean Bay Park are just a 25-minute ferry ride from the Bayshore Ferry Terminal. Click here for the ferry schedule. There are some nice beaches here with fun restaurants and cool beach shops.
